Coach High
Hello. My name is Aaron High, and I am the owner and founder of High Performance Sports and Training Solutions. I have been in the health and human performance industry for over 10 years. I was first introduced to the field in college where I majored in exercise science, and played on the football team. After completing my athletic eligibility, I took on a student coaching position with the football team, working on the field, in the weight room, and in the athletic training room. It was during this time that my passion for coaching and helping others maximize their potential was born. After graduating, I spent the next 3 years as a Division 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach, during which time I was able to hone my skills and understanding in the fields of strength and conditioning and sports performance.
After coaching for 3 years, I entered the world of corporate wellness where my career in personal training was kick-started. From the beginning I worked primarily with middle-aged to older adults, as well as individuals in post-rehab from physical therapy. Many of my clients also had chronic conditions such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, hypertension, and diabetes. Working with these special populations was a great opportunity to expand my knowledge and professional tool set. I learned through experience how to apply the principles of strength and conditioning and sports performance to everyday people. I quickly became the go to guy for elderly clients with chronic conditions and movement dysfunctions, or post-rehab clients from physical therapy. After making a diligent effort to learn as much as possible about sports medicine and rehab science, I began to develop what I call the High Performance Training Method. This training method blends the principles of strength and conditioning, sports performance, and rehab science to bridge the gap between rehab and High Performance. I have truly developed a strong passion for working in this niche and helping people discover what High Performance can look like for them at any phase in life.
I believe High Performance is a lifestyle, whether you’re behind the desk or on the field. It is the pursuit of continuous improvement, personal growth, and lifelong learning. That is why I am committed to being a better me everyday. Everyday I aspire to keep my mind, body, and spirit, in the best shape possible, so that I am ALWAYS ready and able to do what I love, serve others, and enjoy an active lifestyle. I look forward to taking this journey with you!
